How to deal with MAPI-problems in 32/64-bitness environment
MAPI issues are related to the Mail functions in PC-Horse.
If your windows is a 64-bit operating system, a special file needs to be installed in the system's registry in order for the mail function of the PC-Horse program, which is a 32-bit program, to work. It may then happen that you receive a message like this from PC-Horse:
How do I know which operating system I have on my computer?
The most common way to do it is:
- Click Start, type system in the search box, and then click System in the Control Panel list.
- The operating system is displayed as follows:
- For a 64-bit operating system: The 64-bit operating system is displayed for the System Type under System.
- For 32-bit operating systems: 32-bit operating systems are displayed for the System Type under System.
An important file must be on your computer when you install version 3.32 or higher.
The file is RwEasyMAPI64.exe and should have been installed in the same location as your PC-Horse program. This file need to be registered in your windows system and it requires administrator right in system program /regserver. Sometimes this requires help from the IT department, your computer supplier, or someone with a little knowledge of Windows.
