Alternative storage (v3)

In the PC-Horse Consultant and Education version there is a box titled “Directory for user data” with two buttons:

• Alternative directory
• Standard directory

The current path is shown. "Standard" refers to the location where PC-Horse is installed.

Clicking on “Alternative directory” allows you to select an alternative storage location on your PC, or on a memory stick.

PC-Horse then starts to build new stables and horses in the alternative location you have chosen. In the cse of the Education version, students can enter their own name as a directory name on the server PC, and thus identify their own data. 

Even better, a student can save the data to a memory stick and move with this to any other machine where PC-Horse is installed.
