Errors - messages and solutions

Unfortunately you may meet error messages sometimes. Mostly they emanate from errors related to damaged files, missing files, missing links.
This not always easy to understand. This list presents errors we have experienced - and in some case suggestions on how to solve the problems.

Access violation
Cannot creat file (used in another process)
Cannot create file (cannot find the path)
Cannot focus a disabled or invisible window
This error may occur if there is a mismatch between your license (what it allows) and the content of your current installation. For example, if you downgraded the program and have too many stables or horses. Note that the standard version in v.3 only allows 1 stable with 10 horses and the mini version only 1 stable with 1 horse.
If so, delete the redundant units.
Cannot open file (cannot find the file)
The file looked for is missing, in this case an image file was missing in the catalogue "breed images".
Exception EMAPI_CALL_MISSED
Failed to locate the MAPI dll
Errror when downloading feed from PC-Horse Feed Center
Invalid argument to date encode
Item not found (when looking up an individual feed)
List index out of bonds
