How to move your own feeds up to the server

You who work in an older version than  3.40 need to move all your own feed into the cloud.

This is a one-time event and it is therefore important that you ensure that all your own feed is really in place when the move takes place. Therefore, be careful about the status of your PC-Horse content before installing the new version 3.40.

Watch a demo here

1. Open your current version of PC-Horse (earlier than 3.40).

2. Start by opening the feed list OWN FEED. Check that it contains the expected number of own feed.

3. Check that all stables and horses are in place. (If in the professional versions you have exported stables, horses or fodder lists that are not visible, they may need to be re-imported so that their own fodder can be included in the conversion. The same applies if for some other reason you do not have all the data in place. Our support is happy to help if you feel unsure and want help).

4. Make a regular backup when everything is in place. Close the program.

5. Install version 3.40 and follow the instructions when the program is started.

When it's done, all of your own feeds have been uploaded to the server.

They are no longer stored as a large file on your local computer. Instead, each feed is downloaded every time they are needed for a task. As fast and safe as the feed companies' guaranteed feed.

Locally on your computer, all local feed lists and horses with possibly saved price data are still available.

Just like before, there are also all your reports (e.g. feed diets, etc.) as well as export files and laboratory analyzes (if you have saved them in the folder "My feed analyses").
