E-mail without Outlook Classic
Many people use some form of web-mail or have New Outlook activated. Unfortunately, this means that the smart and automated mail functions in PC-Horse are limited. But it is still possible to send mail from the program.
This happens if you want to send E-mail from PC-Horse and have New Outlook or Thunderbird on your computer:
1. Start (as usual) by selecting mail options from the main menu´s E-Mail menu or activate an email with one of the
-icons inside the program.
The email selector window opens - check which reports or files should be sent.
Then press the "Create in my email program" button.
2. Message: "Mail client missing"
You will receive a message that no mail client is defined as the default program in Windows.
A search path will however be displayed that points to the documents you requested to be saved for sending.
Press OK

3. Press the "Copy to Clipboard" button
The link to your selected files and reports will now be saved to the clipboard.

4. You will be shown which file(s) you have selected.

5. Open your webmail.
Start a new email as usual.

Click on the email
-icon to attach files.
If you have selected a file, you can right-click and paste directly, otherwise a window will open and you can choose which files to attach to the email by clicking on them.
Complete the email and send it.
6. Paste diagrams and reports directly into the email.
Some email programs and services allow you to paste illustrations directly into the email text field.
Take advantage of the opportunity to make your reports educational and sales-oriented by using the
clipboard function that you find in many places in PC-Horse.
Copy to clipboard, paste directly into the email.
